Arts Fest

As you can see I've been playing around with my blog a bit. Its fun. :) This week in school has been really laid back so far. We have a four day week and two assemblies every day. During the assemblies kids come out and do artsy stuff like sing, act or show off their band. There has been some good music so far, along with some that made me feel like my ears were bleeding. But all around its been loads of fun. We have had a lot of bands get up and play which surprised me. I thought it would be primarily people on the piano and singing. We've also had some little skits, and one girl even got up and did a group mad gab. It was hillarious. Too bad every week can't be like this.
This is the last week of this grading period. That means we are in the last stretch of school. Its really weird to think about. Last year went by really slow because I had just moved. This year has been really fast. Time really does fly when your having fun!

GRRRR!!!!!!

Ok, I was hopping that we had seen the end of the snow. Apparently not. We got four inches of snow today.:( I can't wait for spring to actually come arround. This last week was nice untill yesterday when it started raining then snowing. This school year has gone by really fast. There is only one quarter left!!! I've made lots of really great friends. Almost every weekend we get together and play games like spoons and apples to apples. We are all so silly its really fun. Drivers Ed. is about half way over. The class is really boring, but driving isn't that bad. My driving partner, Merina, is lots of fun. :) I can't wait for the class to be over though. Watching cheesy driving videos from the 60s gets old really really fast.

School Evacuation!!!!

My school was evacuated today during lunch because of a bomb threat. It cut out the end of our lunch and most of our class afterwards. So it was like a really long lunch. Pretty cool. :) I wasn't worried about the threat at all. My guess is it was a senior who had been joking about it earlier, got high and then called. Its about the season for senior pranks anyways. This is just a really dumb and big one for someone to pull. If it was a student that is. The call was from a park near the school. The administration (oooo, big word. lol) told us that is was a male and they have reason to belive a student. I just hope it blows over soon and feel bad for whoever was dumb enough, or messed up enough, to call. The school district is pressing as many charges as it can. So yeah, that was my day. Pretty big thing so I decided to share. Have a good week!!!

Texting!!!

I got texting!!! :) :) I actually got it a week ago, but the computer wasn't letting my write on my blog. I have to pay for my texting but its not that bad. I am really excited about it and am really glad my parents let me get it. Dad doesn't really like texting, so I'm glad he let me get it. THANK YOU MOM AND DAD!!!!!!! :)

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It snowed. AGAIN!!!! You'd think I'd get used to it snowing this much. But it wasn't even just snow, it hailed and sleeted too. Yuck. I'm just glad my dad was nice and picked me up. The sooner summer comes the better. I have officially decided that I need to live somewhere where its not winter 9 months of the year. Like California or Colorado. That would be sooo nice.

Welcome back Moscow band!!!!

I'm very excited. The band went on a trip to Canada for a competition this weekend and gets back tomorrow. I've really missed all my friends and can't wait to see them tomorrow. Its been a long two school days.
Next year we are going to Disney Land. I can't do band every semester, only once a year. Since I did first semester this year I decided to do second next, which is when we go to Disneyland. And I have to say, that seems more fun than Canada. :) Hurry home band!!!
I'm glad I have such great friends that aren't in band though. I have lots that are amazing in band, but its very nice to have some friends here to talk with.
This morning my friend convinced me to work out with her. She's decided to try to get in better shape and wants a friend to go with her. Because of seminary we had to leave at 5 a.m. to go work out. That was really really early for me. But it felt good too.
Mom has been cooking lots of cool meals lately. Last night she made Lentil soup, tonight white enchiladas (one of my FAVORITES!!!). Dad seems to be enjoying work and comes home happy. Annica has started babysitting and stealing all my business. Jk. :) It just feels weird to have her be called to babysit instead of me. The rest of the kids seem to be enjoying life. We had a boy on the street get chicken-pox last week. Annica and I are the only one's who've had the chicken pox, so my mom and all the kids were worried they would get it. Luckily no one did!

Spring break

I'm so ready for spring break!! That will mean spring is really here (almost). The next two days are going to be really weird. Most of my friends are going to Canada on a band trip. Some of my classes will be very quiet. Lunch defiantly will be. AT least all of my friends aren't going!!!
Its raining again. The last time it rainied that night it turned into snow, so lets hope it doesn't do that again. Ok, I've run out of things to say. This post is really kind of random and pointless, sorry. :)
