SNOW

We have had a little bit of snow so far, but not any real stuff. At least until yesterday. We got about one inch and its supposed to snow all week. Exciting! I'm planning on going sledding. Yeah, its been to cold to snow with the average temp. being like 10. I don't know what the really average is, I'm totally guessing. But it has been around 10 degrees all last week. We went to the temple yesterday and that was fun. On the way home we listened to Radio Disney and called in a song. We listened for another hour and they never played it :/. We tried calling in more times during that hour, but no one ever answered. Lame.

Debs

So last night was debs. And I promised Lora I would blog about it. Not only was it a girls ask guys dance (scary!) but it was my first day (scarier!!). It went really well though. We ate pancakes before the dance and those were yummy. We did have some slightly awkard silences, but we all admitted it and recognized that everyone was nevous, so it was ok. I doubled with Katelyn which made it a LOT easier. There was a lot less sitting there and staring at each other than their could have been. Katelyn's mom took lots of pict of the couples, and mom took some of me alone before I left. They should be on her FB, so Ill get them from her and put the best one as my profile picture for those who don't have a FB. At the dance we stayed in our little corner so we were able to avoid most of the dirty dancing. There was this one guy though.... he was nasty. And kept staring in our general direction. *shiver*. UM.......... my dress was really pretty. I really liked it. I went into the date really nervous and scared, but ended up having a good time. I'm very much so ok with not having dates every weekend. That would be stressfull.

Turkey Day

I love Thanksgiving. I'm so excited for tomorow. Grandma and Grandpa Weber are here, and Tom and Julie are going to be here in an hour or so. Lora is comming for Nates babtism on friday. I'm so excited for his babtism!!! I love babtisms. He is really excited too. The only downside to the break is that I have a lot of homework. One paper and two big, huge, GINORMUS projects. Ok, not that big. But big enough. I'm not going to stress about it right now though. I'll do it ..... later. I did do some today, just not very much. :P Last night Katelyn, Sami and I watched Bride Wars and Music and Lyrics. We had a lot of fun. I love movie nights!

BEFY!!!

Best of EFY was so much fun! We went to one is Spokanne. On the drive up we watched 27 Dresses which was pretty cute. There were 3 speakers and I really liked them all. Two of them were really funny. Even though one of them wasn't, his talk was still really good. They told lots of stories. I wish I could have made a recording of their talks, I would totally put them on my ipod. Thats the thing I love about EFY and other youth fireside thing-a-ma-bobs. They are directed at the youth and so they try to make it really interesting for us. They are always so funny and so spiritual. I love it.
The dance was really cool too. There were a ton of slow songs which was ok I guess. And a lot of line dances. I didn't do most of them, just my fav two. I danced with a lot of guys. I love meeting new guys. :D The DJ had a very different selection of music than we have at our dances. Which isn't suprizing. It was kinda nice to have some new stuff, but I like to sing along with the songs as I dance and I didn't know a lot of them, so it felt kinda weird not to sing. I was dying of heat though. I was really dumb. Its snowy here so automaticlly I dressed for cold weather. So I wore a turtleneck sweater. So yeah, I was hot. I was really sweaty. Ew :P
Debs is comming up and I'm excited and nervous. I bought my dress the other day and have it all figured out how I'm going to ask this guy. I'm just asking him as friends, but it's still nerveracking. Katelyn and I are asking on tuesday. Wish us luck! My dress is a dark purple with a black sash and black designs. If I get some cute picts i'll post them on facebook or on here.
Oh! And another big thing happened to me this weekend. I chopped my hair off! Its only at shoulder length now. It makes me look a lot older, Its kinda weird. I love it though! I kept my bangs and got layers again. If I get a chance sometime I'll post some pictures.
Annica, Jenna and I have been working on a song for Nates babtism. Its turning out sounding really cool. I hope it sounds good then too. I'm so excited for Thanksgiving weekend. I just love turkey day, and its Nate's b-day and then his babtism. And no school!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait. Though I'll probably have a lot of homework. I'm trying to forget that part.

Urg. Stress.

So even with the long weekend I didn't get all my homework done. Awesome, isn't it?? I just feel majorly stressed out right now. And its making me kinda grumpy. Actually, probably really grumpy. At least at home. I'm trying not to be. I'm really overwhelmed right now. My to do list just keeps getting longer and longer everytime I start to tackle it. And my social life has dwindled down to a movie night everyonce in a while. I missed out on helping out at a Vandal game saturday because I was doing homework. URGG. Ok, I'm done venting. I seem to be doing a lot of that latley

Weekend

I love 4 day weekends. They're nice and long. Today Katelyn and I made brownies for the high schools "Academic Update". Or like its called in most places, parent teacher confrences. Key Club was having a bake sale. Afterwards we went and walked her dogs. That was fun. It was really windy though. Tonight she has a recital and its going to be amazing!!!!! Next weekend is Best of EFY. I can't wait. There is going to be a dance. And 6 stakes worth of guys!!!!!! How exciting is that!?!?

We lost

We lost. And it wasn't a gracefull loss either. It was like 0- 37 or something. :'( Too bad. It was a fun game though!! Afterwards some of us came home to my house and watched a movie that I cannot remember the name of right now.....
This weekend was very needed. I feel so much better! I actually feel prepared for this next week. I think I need to spend more time with my friends during the weekend. Katelyn did a piano solo in sacarement meeting today. It went really well, and I think I was as nervous, if not more so, than she was. Today all the talks were short and by the ward council. They talked about their favorite confrence talks. Almost all of them mentioned Jeffery R. Holland's on the B.O.M. That was one of my favorites too. I loved how he spoke with so much emotion.
Today I was online and found some sheet music by Mom's fav. pianist. And they had a free song for downloading this month! So of course I printed it off. Its kinda fun to play, and I might by some music from him later. The guy's name is Brian Crain. You should look him up. I like him too, and I normally don't like the kind of music my mom likes.

Sucess!!! and some rain

I have caught up in math and loving matrices. They are nice and easy. ;) Tonight is our last football home game against the team we hate even more than the closest high school. Sandpoint. They are closest in skill level to us. And of course, its raining. Some friends and I are still going to brave it, just not the whole game. We're going to go at half time. GO BEARS!!!!!!!!

UUUURRRGGGGGG!!!

I have never liked math. Out off all my classes its always been the one I struggle with the most. So, of course, the hardest year of high school I get the worst math teacher I've ever had. He doesn't assign homework, he doesn't go over quizes and when he teaches its for like 20 minutes. That is NOT enough time to teach me something!! And he moves on to something new every day! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I'm havning a hard time. I've gone in and talked to him, and I'm still having trouble. I totally bommed a test today. VERY frustrating after trying so hard. GGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!


Ok, I'm done venting. School is very stressful this year, so I think I'll be doing a lot of that.....

Power outage

Today I took the PSAT. Well that was fun. Three hours of testing. Not all the way through, but I still felt like mush at the end. After that was lunch, then in my next class I had a test. URRG. And during the test the power went out! They would have sent us home, but there was only one class period left. Darn. So yea, I hope I do good on that math test, cause doing it in the dark was not easy, I have to say.
I've been working really hard in school and work. I'm also trying to apply to as many scholarships as I can. So if you know of any that apply to me (I'm planning on BYU provo) just make a comment!
Craig and Maria's family came about a week ago. We went an pressed apples and hung out. It was fun. I was really busy all weekend so I didn't get to spend as much time with them as I would have liked, but it was nice to see their family. This next weekend Julie is comming. And one of the guys from my trek family is giving his farewell! I'm totally there. I'm really excited for him.

School and Work

I got a job as a secretary for a dentist's office. Its not that bad. I'm still being trained so I don't do all the stuff, but this next week I'm learning almost everything.
For my A.P. class I had to write my first paper this weekend. I'm kinda stressed out about it cause last year everyone got bad grades on it. :S I spent hours on it so I hope its good! This weekend is homecomming weekend. I'm not going to the dance tonight, so instead Katelyn and I are watching Hercules. The theme of the dance is a Night in Athens, so it makes sence. The game was yesterday, but I was in bed with a headache and feeling nausous. I was extremly dehydrated. Not fun. We won though!

Sick persons

Everyone is sick. I'm sick, Jennas sick, Nates sick, Mom thinks she's getting sick. There are tons of people missing from school according to my friends and Annica says that her science teacher counted how many kids are home sick at the Jr. high and it was like 100. Ouch! I tried going to school today thinking I was better. Nope. Went home at lunch with a headache and a fever. Took a long nap when I got home. So not going to school tomorow. I hate being sick. I hate missing school, and I'm not looking forward to making up my classes. Especially A.P. history. Ew. The wierd thing is its not swine flu. I think a few people have it, but most people have the cough thing I have. I lost my voice yesterday and can only talk in a whisper. I feel fine for the most part, but get a headache everyonce in a while. Glad I'm not throwing up!

School News

So far I really like my schedule. My AP history class so far is really hands on, I've met some cool people in French, my math teacher dosen't assign homework (?!?!? not sure I like that) my english teach is... hard to describe and my chem teach I had for one semester last year and he's lots of fun. The first day of school he blew something up. I like to describe him as a nerdy science teacher with ADHD. It fits perfectly. So far it looks like I won't be getting a lot of homework, though I will be forcing myself to do some on my own in math. Thankfully our textbook has all the odd answers in the back so I can check if I'm doing the work right. We had a begining of the year assembly and that was fun. They had a guy from each grade stand on a block of ice and see who lasted longest. The junior jock who went up gave up quickly (of course. sigh...) and the soph. guy, who is totally awesome and fun to hang out with won. He stayed on that ice almost the entire assembly. Go Mckay!! Thinking about how cold his feet must have been makes me shiva.
Katelyn, BreAnne and I have been walking home. Katelyn comes about half way like last year.
Seminary starts on tuesday, I'm very excited. We're doing the B.O.M this year and I can't wait!!!
I've been reading the Odessy and I'm really enjoying it. I tried to start it a few months ago and lost intrest. I decided to start it again at the end of summer, knowing that my english teacher would probably require reading and probably at least a few classics, so I decided to start my homework early. ;) I'm still not very far into it, but I'm plowing along.
My trek family had a little reunion a few weeks ago. It was really great to see everyone again. We're having a fireside and dance this saturday and it's supposed to be about the trek. I can't wait!! Its been way too long since the last dance. And now I have more skirts to choose from. I just hope they don't try to do a reinactment of the square dancing on the trek. That was way too confusing for my simple teenager mind. he he he :)
Today in church it was freezing! The had the a/c on like it was 90 degrees outside, when it was probably more like 60-70. Everyone who had blankets in their car went out and got them. One of my friends had like four in her car and grabbed them all. Katelyn and I shared one, it was sooo nice. When I got home I put on my winter pj pants and slippers to warm up. I hope they don't keep the a/c on like that next week.

Ending Summer With A Bang

My parents and I went rafting the other day with our neighbors. It was an all day trip and lots of fun. We saw horses and a river otter which according to the guide is a rare sighting. There were lots of slow lazy riva parts which I didn't like as much. When we actually had rapids it was lots of fun though.
Yesterday was Annica's first youth temple trip. I really enjoyed it. In the car some friends and I worked on planning our prom. So far our plans for a mormon prom have been going really well. We have the support of our leaders too which is always a good thing.
School starts on September 2. It's way later than usuall, but still feels too close. There are people and things I have not missed and don't want to deal with again. Not to mention I'm taking an AP class. Ugg. Its kinda scary to think about, I'm nervous. One of my friends took it last year and she said she liked it. I guess I'll form my own opinion in a few days. I just bet I'll get a paper on the first day though. Again, ugg.

Sweet 16!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is my 16th bday! So far its been great. This morning I got a dress I've been wanting for a long time. I almost bought it for myself a few months ago, but didn't because it's a little more formal dress. I was so excited!! I went and got my makeup done at Macy's today and bought some of the stuff they used. It was really expensive stuff! Tonight I'm having a party with lots of friends. Its going to be lots of fun. I'm keeping it simple, but lovin' it!

Retainer/plastic spoon, online classes and skirts

So yea I've decided my plastic retainer is a PAIN!!! Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have it instead of my braces. But it really does feel like a plastic spoon is in my mouth all day. I end up sucking on it. EW!! I ate my first whole apple in two years today. When my Mom saw me she kinda chuckled at how I was eating it. I was taking really tiny bites cause it felt sooo wierd to eat something like that. Glad I can do it though!!
I've been working on my online class a lot latley. I actually finished a unit today, so it's going by really fast. I'll be done by the time school starts.
Mom, Annica and I have been working on making Annica and I skirts. We went and spent forever diliberating over a pattern and fabrice the other day. Annica got this really cute white fabric with dasies "drawn" in black and she's going to have a top piece be black. Mine is a red skirt with a large floral print. I love red shoes and skirts and accesories. This is a very sudden thing, no idea why either.
The other day I borowed my friend's movie Wait Untill Dark with Audry Hepborn (spelling???)All my friends have seen it, so I've heard all about the scariest part of the movie. I was waiting for it the entire time, and I still jumped when it happened. Mom screamed. I think that scared me as much as the movie.
I just realized like 5 minutes ago what day it is today. Its 14 days 'till my b-day. I was totally shocked. I haven't really been thinking about it. Which is crazy seeing I've dreamed of turning 16 since I was like 12. Wow. I know one thing for sure. I'll either end up going on lots of boring dates because no one can come up with anything creative, or really crazy cool ones. I guess I'll find out!
A few of my friends and me are planning on putting on an LDS prom this year. I went to homecomingn this last year and I have to say I hated it. And I do want to go to prom, just not the school's. So we are getting a group together and putting a prom on ourselves. I'm very excited. And kinda have a feeling I've blogged about this before.....

Braces!!!

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY DANCE IN MY HEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I GOT MY BRACES OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :D :) :D :) :D So I had an ortho appointment yesterday to get fitted for my retainer. They had an open appointment and so offered to just take my braces off too. It was perfect! If they hadn't taken them off yesterday I would have had to wait a month, and that would have been after my 16th bday. That would've been sad. I would post a picture, but my blog still won't let me. Very wierd...
Annica and Mom are at beehive camp all week. Dad's working, so I'm babysitting all week. I don't mind, as long as I get to go to the library today. ;) So far its been very easy. Lets just hope they all get along all week and make my job easy.

Weddings

My cousin got married today. I was at home ( or rather my aunt and uncle's house) watching the kids. My parents came and picked us up for the luncheon. That was very fancy. Very cool, very yummy. Afterwards we walked around temple square and went to the church history museum. Annica and Jenna actually went back home and watched Inkheart with most of our cousins. But I had fun walking around. Except my feet were killing me. I had on heels. They are my one and only pair, but very very cute. Every time I wear them someone comments on them. Thank you Annica!! She gave them to me for Christmas this year. At least they were worn in and not brand-new heels. ugg. Just thinking about that makes me shiver. The reception tonight was pretty cool too.
Yesterday Mom went to Kohl's and got me a couple things. It feels so good to have new clothes. I love my clothes, but there's just something about wearing something new for the first time. I'm excited to do it. :) And they are really cute. A lot of my friends complain about how their mom's can't pick out cute clothes. But I am lucky and have a mom that has a similar style to me. We don't always agree on what would look good on me, but for the most part we do. Its nice to know I can trust her to go get something for me.
I felt so pretty today. I was all dressed up in my dress and heels and had my hair curled. It helped that everyone kept complementing me too. :) It was nice. :) And it helped me be not so tired. I always get so worn out on vactations. Staying up late and getting up early (or early for the summer) doesn't really do me much good. But I'm just having way too much fun! I took a little snooze on the couch today before the reception and that helped. But there is nothing quite like sleeping in your own bed.
Tyler and Nate have been having lots of fun being teased by all the older guy cousins. All week Nate has been taunting my cousins Matthew and Randy saying he would beat them at some racing game. He ended up loosing last night, during a competition at the guy cousin's sleepover, but I guess he is second best. I think that's pretty good for a sever year old.
This week had been packed with fun. We roasted starburst last night, watched the Perfect Man (a good chick flick when your in the mood for a chick flick) and talked untill about one in the morning. We went to a water park earlier this week, saw fireworks, and went to an archery... park? range? I'm not sure what you would call it. I've heard lots of stories from my Grandparents and learned lots about them. I love hearing about people's past's. Some stories can be sooo funny.
Tomorow we are going through a temple open house ( I can't remember its name for the life of me) and then going to St. George. My grandparents house is going to be very full with two families there, but It'll be fun. I have a feeling we will play lots of uno. I have to say, uno is like my favorite card game ever. My Dad hates it because of its lack of strategey. But I really enjoy it. Its the card game I've grown up playing and adapted with people. Every time I play with a new group of people I have to make sure we establish the rules. There are a ton of little variations out there. And even like whole new games like Uno cheat and another game I can't remember the name of but find very difficult.

Family Reunion Time!

Well I'm on my Woolley Family reunion. It took us two days because we stopped in Parma for the night. We were gone by 9 the next morning after visiting Dr. Glaghtly (sp!?!?!). He's a chiropractor and we all had him re-adjust things. It feels really good. :) My toes were really curled up and now they are really straight. They look very very long. Kinda wierd. Ok well I'm going to watch a movie with my amazing cousins Lindsay and Breanne!! No idea what yet though.....

My Two new favorite things

Today I discovered I have two new favs. Water and naps. Both things are my life savers (not breath savers!) (he he he lame inside jokeish thing) today. Wihout my yummy water I would have died on the trek. And it just tastes so good!! I took a really long nap today, now that was amazing!! It felt very good to slow down again and relax.
But now I'm bored. I can't wait for the family reunion so I won't be bored anymore. I need to find someways to entertain myself this week. I'm trying to avoid the t.v. and computer (or at least just surfing the net). Though I did make myself a facebook page. I've had friends bugging me to get one for a long time and finally gave in. I haven't done a whole lot with it and probably wont do much more than chat and put on pictures. But if you have one, lets be friends! I don't know who all has one, if anyone that looks on here. But I thought I'd throw it out there.
I love grooveshark. It's a site where you can make a free playlist. Since I lost my ipod a while ago I've been missing my music. I like to listen to music all the time. I've been using the radio but thats not the same cause I'm always having to switch stations when a bad song comes on. With grooveshark I get to finally choose my music again!!! Its soooo nice. :) Too bad its just on the computer though. I really really need to get an ipod again.

Trek!!!!!

Wow, the Trek was amazing. There's so much to tell. I got into a really great family. One of my closest friends Katelyn was in it, along with two other kids from my ward. Bishop Porter and his wife were my ma and pa. The other kids in my family are totally amazing! I grew really close to them over just a few days. They are all so funny!!
We ended up going about 20 miles. To you boy scouts that might not sound like a lot, but thats the most I've ever walked in such a short amount of time. And the dirtiest I've ever been. Well, kinda. I was dirtier after a mud fight when I was little, but I was able to go in and wash off. With the trek I was constantly dirty. It was windy so all the sand and dirt was constantly blowing up in our faces. Every time I took my sunglasses off they had a film of dust on them. Ew!
Even after putting on lots of sunscreen I got burnt. I have windburn too. Luckily I think my burns are quickly turning into a tan though. The only downer is that now my arms and face are a lot tanner than my legs because I was wearing a skirt.
The spirit was really strong the whole time and I learned a lot about myself. After doing the girl pull I felt very acomplished. I didn't take a camera, but Katelyn did so I'm planning on getting her pictures. And the stake took lots of pictures and they said they are eventually going to send out a disk with all the pictures. So right now I have no pictures, but eventually. I keep promising all these pictures! Geeze, lets just hope I remember. :)

Chicago Again

Sorry about that post above, IDK what is going on there but yea.....
Dad is flying to Chicago today for meetings. Poor guy. He gets to go somewhere cool and has to spend the whole time in meetings. He gets back on wednsday, the day I leave for the trek. I'm almost completly ready for the trek. I'm just hoping we are blessed with good weather. Right now its raining, but I heard the area we are going to is supposed to be very hot. So who knows?
It's so crazy. Its been a week and a half of summer so far, but school already seems so far away. Time moves really strange as a teenager I do have to say. During the school year the day goes by really fast but the weeks seem to fly by. Its wierd.
We got a cd of all the pictures our friend took. Some of them turned out really nice and there are some pretty funny ones too. I want to put some on here, but Mom wanted to double check with her friend to make sure its ok. There is this series of photos after we had finished a pose and were goofing around. There's a photo every few seconds it's pretty funny. She also took one of mom putting back on a green band-aid. If I get the ok it is so being put on here.

Annica's Room

Annica's room is finally all situated. The color is very nice and doesn't make her room look small like I was scared it might. We experimented with her bed in various places and finally decided on where it should go. I have to say it looks pretty sweet. Eventually (if I ever remember) I'll put pictures of it up here.
Right now I'm in the process of making a cork board thing. Its not cork board, but serves the same purpose. I'm taking a piece of foam, covering it with fabric and then covering it with ribbon in a diagnal pattern. The ribbon will hold pictures and some of my sketches. I have the foam and the ribbon... no fabric. We're going to get it tomorow and then I'll put the whole thing together. I'm way excited. I've been meaning to make this for a long time. Actually... since I painted my room. I'll post a picture... hopefully....eventually.....

Tacos!!!!

Yum! I love tacos. Especially taco salad. In case you haven't guessed, thats what we had for dinner. Very yummy.
We've had lots of rain in the last few days. Good for the crops I guess. I like rain in small quantities. As long as it doesn't rain for the next month I'm all good.
Annica finally got her room painted today. Jenna and Annica helped but I think mom worked the hardest. She's pretty tired. I really like the way Annica's room looks. Its a very nice blue. Its darker then mine but not so dark that her room feels small.

Another Post

I looked and saw how many posts I have so far and was shocked to realize that its under 100. I have had this blog for about 2.5 years, so thats not very many. I decided to post more often. Mom and I went and got flowers for my little garden spot yesterday. I have a space under my window that has some tulips and daffodils. Not enough to make the space look nice though, so we went and got some more. The space will still look sorta bare, but the flowers we got will grow to get pretty big. When the plants get to full size the space will be full.
Annica and Nate are signing up for a baskeball camp. Jenna isn't sure what sport she wants to do. My parents never made me pick a sport so I have never really stuck to one. I've tried soccer, softball, basketball and swimming. I like softball but last years experience wasn't that great. So Mom and I were just talking and we decided I should do rock climbing again. We used to do it every once-in-a-while in Denver and I really enjoyed it. We have a really tall wall here on the U of I campus, but because I'm not a student I've never gone because it kinda cost a lot. But Mom's willing to spend the money and I'm ready to work out. I like exercising, but I have a hard time getting myself to just go out and run or something. I like playing sports with friends and working out that way. I'm really excited for rock climbing though! Its been a long time and I know I'll be sore, but it'll be a good sore. :)

SUMMER IS HERE!!!

YEAH!!! I am no longer a sophmore. Its a very good feeling. My friend and I wandered around the U of I campus for about an hour after school. It was pretty fun. After that I went to Annica's 6th grade graduation. Annica won some sort of academic award. I didn't really understand what it was, but go Annica! I just got back from mutual. We had a bbq and weighed our buckets for trek. It was lots of fun except we were attacked by mosquitos!! I have my first few bites of the summer. I did't even itch them that much and they are already kinda big. And itchy. Not fun, but its part of summer. Tomorow is the sleepover and its going to be so much fun. Exept one of my friends isn't wanting to come, lamo. She's gonna miss out!!
So Up is a really cute movie. It might be a little scary for really young kids, but I loved it.

Last Day!!!!!!!!!!

I have one day of school left! YES!!! And its not even a full day. We have two finals, but in one class I don't have to take the final. So only one for me. :) he he he ;)Tomorow a friend and I are planning to go see Up. I've heard its really cute from a few friends. I can't wait.
Mom is in Chicago with her sisters this week so we are struggling along without her. No, Dad is doing a great job. Its hard to keep the house running and work too. He is letting everyone pick a meal that they want and then making it. This morning he made pancakes and blueberry syrup for me, tacos for Jenna. Tomorow is cinnamon rolls for Annica. We are all trying to help out too, don't worry, he's not doing all the work... kinda. Lol.
The other kids have been playing at school all week. I have to say I'm jealous. Except if we were just playing at school I would so not come. I can play at home just as well. That probably why we dont....
I have to say, Katelyn is an amazing friend. She totally saved my butt. This last month or so I've been having... isues with a boy. She was always there for me to talk to, even when I'm sure I was getting repetive and probably annoying. I learned Katelyn is amazing and that boys are really really dumb through this experience. (I'm sure my parents are happy to hear that last part) Love you Katelyn!!!
The weather has been amazing!! Summer has decided to show up finally. The only downer is walking home gets a little toasty. I've started getting tan. Its nice to not be pasty anymore.
This summer is going to be so much fun! I'm going to really have fun hanging out with my friends this summer. And I have the Woolley family reunion this month too. And trek. I also have a painting to finish. And somethings I want to finish in my room. Its looks good now, but there are some last little details I still haven't finished. Annica has finally decided on a paint color, thanks to Julies help. She'll probably paint it this summer.

3 More Days!!!!

I only have finals left! And then its play time!!! I can't wait. I'm not nearly as stressed about finals as I was last sememster. I think its because I wore myself out with all my projects. The last day of school is only a few hours, so afterwards me and a friend are going on adventures. That night is mutual and we are having a last day of school bbq and then the mia maids are planning on having a sleepover. Its going to be awesome!!! This summer I am going to be so tan. I haven't really been trying at all and I'm already way more tan than most of my friends. Its from going to all my friends tennis games and softball games. And the hikes.
Trek is coming up. I'm excited but at the same time don't feel ready. I have most of my stuff ready. I just need (want) to decorate my bucket and finsh up a few things. Hopefully it won't be too terribly hot.
Today Annie Lyon practiced taking pictures using us as models. At first I wasn't wanting to be there because it was during the morning and I hadn't wanted to get up that early. But then I started having lots of fun. Sister Lyon is so much fun! We went and took pictures in an alley and a few other places around town. We did some really cool poses. She's wanting to put them on her blog. I just need to get the name of her blog so I can show off... lol ;)

Ok, I finally got arround to adding everyone into my blogs I follow list. If I forgot anyone let me know!! I don't want to leave anyone out. And this way my mom can check up all her friends without needing my help. ;)

Drivers Ed

To answer Lora's question I'm done with divers ed. I have my permit and I am slowly shaving away the 50 hours I have to drive. I've driven about 90 min so far. I'm sure I'll get lots of driving done this summer. It feels so good to be done with drivers ed I do have to say. :)

Family, projects and Memorial Day weekend

There are 7 days of school left including finals days that aren't full days. I'm very excited. I still have two big projects that are due in that short of time. One I haven't even started yet. I am making a childrens book for science and that is due on tuesday. Its called Larry the Lonely Scorpion. I have been drawing pictures and coloring for it all weekend. Then I have to make an anthology of all my work in english this year. It would be easy except I have to right two essays for it. Gah! Its a lot of work. Uncle Tom and Aunt Julie are at our house for the weekend. I feel bad not being able to spend lots of time hanging out, but I have to get my project done this weekend. They have spoiled us! They brought all us kids presents and a Cheesecake factory cheesecake. Mom's favorite even. We went on a hike today and that was really fun. There were lots of people there though. We are all very glad they could come.
The sooner school gets out the better! I'm so tired of working so hard. It always seems like there is twice as much work at the end of the year when I just want to start slowing down. :S Oh well, thats life for ya. At least I'm not the only one stressing out. Im very jealous of my Dad. School ended for him 2 weeks ago. I'm almost there!!!

Only (about) 12 days of school left!!!

I am so ready for summer. I'm still working hard in school, but I'm very tired and ready to be done. This week was spirit week. All week the days themes have been kinda dumb except for todays and tomorows. Today was tacky clothes day. A friend and I wore ties and shorts and leggings. My leggings were orange my tie purple with orange flowers and my shirt bright pink. Very colorful. It was lots of fun!! Another friend wore a straw hat, saftey glasses, very colorful shorts, winter boots, a 70's style shirt with a vest and lots of neckalces. He looked hilarious!!! Tomorow is the color battle. Sophmores wear white (yuck) jrs. red and srs. black. Srs. always win cause black is easiest, but its still fun to see how creative some people get. This year most people won't really wear white, but next year with red.... it'll be fun. :)

Happy Mothers day!!

To all the mom's in the world, hope you have a great Mom day!! Today we had lots of yummy food. Salmon baked with brown sugar lots and of side dishes for dinner. For dessert we had yellow cupcakes with coolwhip and strawberries. Very yummy!!

School is coming to and end and I am starting to get very busy. I have two large projects plus all my other homework. I'm still on the hunt for a job (its not going very well :( ) and finals are coming up soon. Not to mention I have a piano recital soon. I've memorised a Sonitina. Its lots of fun to play. Im also working on a Phantom of the Opera peice and my first Jazz song. Its very different style and kinda hard to get used to. At first I wasn't a huge fan but now I think its fun to play. I don't ever want to play a ton of it, but its a nice change.

The weather has finally turned for the better and seems like it plans to stay that way. Its not cold any more and when it rains its not freezing. I'm so ready for summer. I made lots of friends this school year and can't wait to hang out with them this summer!!

Catching up

I had lots of fun at my friends house. We stayed up late thursday night talking. Friday we walked to the dollar store and bought a lot of junk food. We discovered that m&ms really are good on pizza!! Its in Princess Diaries. That night we tried to pull an all nighter. Its hard with just two people!! We made it to one in the morning and through the first two Spiderman movies. I think we both fell asleep a few times. Next time we'll have more people.... It was really nice of her mom to let me stay over and hang out. Thank you Hubers!!! Sister Huber is an amazing cook. :)
This weekend was a long weekend with two extra days off. A couple friends and I went and played mini golf. Its a good thing we weren't keeping score because I would have lost. I ended up pushing the ball into the hole most of the time. But its all good. Only one of my friends actually knew what he was doing. The rest of us were just fooling around and making fun of ourselfs. After that we went to the mall and fooled around untill we could go watch another friends softball game. I'd promised her I'd make it to at least one. I played last season but because of Driver's ed didn't have time this season. I couldn't stay for the whole game, but she played really well. It was really cold too. This weekend two of my friends made it to districts. One for track and one for tennis.
I have only two more driver's ed classes!!!!! On tuesday I get my permit. I'm more excited to be done with the class then get my permit truthfully. I took my driving final this week and passed with 87%. I take my final written test on monday. I'm nervous because of all the little facts and numbers I have to remember. Wish me luck!! The only thing is I don't have a car to drive. I wish I had my own car, but I'm not going to die without one. And I have enough friends with cars that can drive me around that I'm not worried. School is almost out and I can't wait!!!
I'm trying to get a job this summer so I can actually go do things. Its not working very well because the entire high school is doing the same thing, but I'll keep looking. This summer is going to be so much fun. I have made so many friends this year. And its my 16th bday in August. That is the end of the summer, but still I can't wait!!!!! Annica is going into 7th grade next year. Its wierd to think about.

um....

.... No life changing stuff going on around here. The amazing Lora and her two girls are here and thats been pretty fun. I have been able to spend a lot of time with Rowan, its been really fun. I have many pictures on my cell. ;) Next week Mom and Dad are going.... somewhere for a confrence. Because we'll be in school we are all going to friends houses for those few days. Lucky for me my friend lives two houses down so I can run home if I forget anything. Its going to be sooooo much fun!!! :)

Spring has ARRIVED!!!!!!!!!!!

This week has been soooooo nice!!! It got up into the 60s and 70s. In the summer that dosen't sound very warm, but compared to the weather we've been having its amazing. A friend and I wore our sunglasses and shorts on tuesday together because it was so nice. It was kind of funny. My shorts are this pink and orange and brown plaid, really cute. And the day I wore them another friends was wearing a shirt that was the exact same pattern! Really wierd. Prom is comming up, and its funny to watch the school get all worked up over it. Especially sophmores. I think its too early to go to prom as a sophmore personally.
Im finally almost done with drivers ed. I have 4 more weeks!! I'm super excited about it. There is only a few more weeks of school left too!!!!! Life is pretty much amazing right now. :) :)

Arts Fest

As you can see I've been playing around with my blog a bit. Its fun. :) This week in school has been really laid back so far. We have a four day week and two assemblies every day. During the assemblies kids come out and do artsy stuff like sing, act or show off their band. There has been some good music so far, along with some that made me feel like my ears were bleeding. But all around its been loads of fun. We have had a lot of bands get up and play which surprised me. I thought it would be primarily people on the piano and singing. We've also had some little skits, and one girl even got up and did a group mad gab. It was hillarious. Too bad every week can't be like this.
This is the last week of this grading period. That means we are in the last stretch of school. Its really weird to think about. Last year went by really slow because I had just moved. This year has been really fast. Time really does fly when your having fun!

GRRRR!!!!!!

Ok, I was hopping that we had seen the end of the snow. Apparently not. We got four inches of snow today.:( I can't wait for spring to actually come arround. This last week was nice untill yesterday when it started raining then snowing. This school year has gone by really fast. There is only one quarter left!!! I've made lots of really great friends. Almost every weekend we get together and play games like spoons and apples to apples. We are all so silly its really fun. Drivers Ed. is about half way over. The class is really boring, but driving isn't that bad. My driving partner, Merina, is lots of fun. :) I can't wait for the class to be over though. Watching cheesy driving videos from the 60s gets old really really fast.

School Evacuation!!!!

My school was evacuated today during lunch because of a bomb threat. It cut out the end of our lunch and most of our class afterwards. So it was like a really long lunch. Pretty cool. :) I wasn't worried about the threat at all. My guess is it was a senior who had been joking about it earlier, got high and then called. Its about the season for senior pranks anyways. This is just a really dumb and big one for someone to pull. If it was a student that is. The call was from a park near the school. The administration (oooo, big word. lol) told us that is was a male and they have reason to belive a student. I just hope it blows over soon and feel bad for whoever was dumb enough, or messed up enough, to call. The school district is pressing as many charges as it can. So yeah, that was my day. Pretty big thing so I decided to share. Have a good week!!!

Texting!!!

I got texting!!! :) :) I actually got it a week ago, but the computer wasn't letting my write on my blog. I have to pay for my texting but its not that bad. I am really excited about it and am really glad my parents let me get it. Dad doesn't really like texting, so I'm glad he let me get it. THANK YOU MOM AND DAD!!!!!!! :)

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It snowed. AGAIN!!!! You'd think I'd get used to it snowing this much. But it wasn't even just snow, it hailed and sleeted too. Yuck. I'm just glad my dad was nice and picked me up. The sooner summer comes the better. I have officially decided that I need to live somewhere where its not winter 9 months of the year. Like California or Colorado. That would be sooo nice.

Welcome back Moscow band!!!!

I'm very excited. The band went on a trip to Canada for a competition this weekend and gets back tomorrow. I've really missed all my friends and can't wait to see them tomorrow. Its been a long two school days.
Next year we are going to Disney Land. I can't do band every semester, only once a year. Since I did first semester this year I decided to do second next, which is when we go to Disneyland. And I have to say, that seems more fun than Canada. :) Hurry home band!!!
I'm glad I have such great friends that aren't in band though. I have lots that are amazing in band, but its very nice to have some friends here to talk with.
This morning my friend convinced me to work out with her. She's decided to try to get in better shape and wants a friend to go with her. Because of seminary we had to leave at 5 a.m. to go work out. That was really really early for me. But it felt good too.
Mom has been cooking lots of cool meals lately. Last night she made Lentil soup, tonight white enchiladas (one of my FAVORITES!!!). Dad seems to be enjoying work and comes home happy. Annica has started babysitting and stealing all my business. Jk. :) It just feels weird to have her be called to babysit instead of me. The rest of the kids seem to be enjoying life. We had a boy on the street get chicken-pox last week. Annica and I are the only one's who've had the chicken pox, so my mom and all the kids were worried they would get it. Luckily no one did!

Spring break

I'm so ready for spring break!! That will mean spring is really here (almost). The next two days are going to be really weird. Most of my friends are going to Canada on a band trip. Some of my classes will be very quiet. Lunch defiantly will be. AT least all of my friends aren't going!!!
Its raining again. The last time it rainied that night it turned into snow, so lets hope it doesn't do that again. Ok, I've run out of things to say. This post is really kind of random and pointless, sorry. :)

Rain

I spoke too soon. For the last few days its been raining like crazy. I look back at last year and it rained a lot then too. Rain is defiantly better than snow though, so I'm not complaining, exactly. :) Last night I went to the boys last district game and they lost. It was really close and went into over time. Same with the girls b. ball team. I feel bad for both teams. Hopefully next year they'll make it! Now that spring is here I wish I had the time to do softball. But now that I'm doing school, drivers -ed, piano, and voice I just don't have the time. That is if I want to have any social life at all during the weekend. Luckily I have wellness, which hasn't been nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I was scared that it would be really horrible, but I've really been getting into it. And I'm really glad I have it at the end of the day. That way I don't have to be sweaty all day, cause I get really really sweaty sometimes. EWWW!!!! Tonight is my 2nd day of drivers ed. Its not the most exciting class, but I'm glad that I'm finally in it.

Life

To answer questions from my last post, no I don't know his name. I think he's in my stake. I've seen him at dances a few times, but never at church.
My life is busy right now, but definitely in a good way. This weekend I'm probably going to the Varsity boys district b.ball game and to a friends house to hang out. And I'm going on a daddy daughter hike with some people in my ward. Not to mention I'm working on saving up for a cell phone. I'm hoping to convince my parents to let me get texting. It should work because I'll be paying my bill. I think its a reasonable thing to ask.
Today I had an orthodontist appointment and so I didn't go back to school for my last class. Its P.E., so no worries. :) They told me that I have about two more appointments before I'm done. Knowing how orthodontists work, I'm rounding that up to 3-5 appointments. But thats still very exciting. I'm definitely going to wear my rubber bands all the time. Every time they take my wire out to re-adjust it or give me a new one it feels so weird to be able to feel my teeth. I can't wait till I can feel all of my teeth and not just a part of them!!
I think Moscow is finally deciding to start inching towards spring. Its been sunny all day. Still on the chilly side, but the sun will start melting the last little bit of snow. I will be so happy when all the snow if all gone.
Mom had her quarterly Enrichment night thing-a-ma-bob. She was stressed this past week, but now seems to be in a much better mood now that its over. She did a good job of not being grumpy while stressed out. Jenna tried out for Historian on Student counsil today. I'm not sure exactly what that is, but it sounded kind of like a photographer. She is becoming very involved in school. Nathan started basketball and is having lots of fun. Tyler is really enjoying preschool and loves talking about what he did in school at the dinner table. Annica seems to be enjoying being a beehive, especially now that her best friend is one too. Dad seems to be enjoying work right now. He has come home in a teasing mood a lot latley. I have my drivers-ed parent meeting tonight. From now on every monday and wed. I have drivers ed from 7 to 9:30. I'm going to be very tired at the end of the day, but I'm glad I don't have to take it in the morning and that I can finally get it over with. I was very lucky and got a close friend in the class, so we'll have lots of fun together. I'm really sad that I'm going to miss YW on wed. though. Especially being in the presidency. I get to plan all these fun activities and don't get to participate. Don't get me wrong I have fun planning, I just wish I could do the activity too. Suprizingly enough I'm not in a huge rush to get my licence. I have enough friends with licences and Moscow is small enough to walk around in. Maybe if I had the chance of getting a car I would be more excited.

Happy V-day!

This week has been lots of fun. The girls b ball team had two district games this week. Sadly they lost the last game and so couldn't go to state, but going to the games was lots of fun. After the game on thursday we all came to my house and played spoons. It was so much fun and even got athletic we were so competitive.
Yesterday we had a ward temple trip and then a dance. It was the first temple trip this school year so I was really excited to go. Annica was feeling sick and so couldn't go. After the temple we went to Old Country Buffet. Not the most amazing place to eat, but its better then not eating at all. A few cars went to the dance and a few home. We were about an hour late to the dance. It was kinda scary. We drove up to the church and there were only two cars. We drove around to the other side of the building hoping there were more cars. Everyone sighed in relief when we saw all the other cars. It was a really fun dance and I met lots of sweet guys. One was really, really sweet. My friends and I were standing twoards the edge of the room and this guy walked up. There were some leaders standing by us so I thought he was a leader going to talk with someone. But then my friends tapped me on the shoulder and it was a guy holding a flower. In a really shy voice he told me it was for me. I was really suprized and flattered. It was so sweet. I hope everyone else had just as amazing of a valentines day as I did!!

Blue Skies

We finally had a few days of blue sky this week! It was still very cold, but oh so beautiful. Yesterday I helped with the Bosie Special Olympics. Policemen with the Olympians are running the torch and stopped at the High School. The band played the Olympic theme for them as they ran into the school and then the National Anthem at the beggining of the ceremony. It was lots of fun but really COLD. We ended up having to wait about 45 min. for them to be ready. By that time I couldn't even really play my flute it was so cold and my hands so stiff. But it was nice to talk with all my friends for that long.
Alan and Connie are here before Rowan's blessing. We are going to drive up before church and then back after. I think I'm taking a pair of sweats to wear while we're in the car. I don't like wearing skirts very much.
Today there was a Ten Virgins skit put on by the stake relif society and they invited the YW. It was very good. I could tell that lots of work had been put into it.

NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

It's snowing again. I knew it would cause its winter, but that doesnt' make me any happier about it. I'm a girl who likes the sun, and I haven't seen it in ages. I miss our sunny Colorado winters. Mom drove off the road this morning on the way to the temple. Luckily she was safe and the car wasn't hurt at all. She didn't end up going to the temple after all. I haven't been since summer so I'm ready for a youth temple trip. My first week of school has gone ok. I went to a b. ball game last night and played with the band. It was lots of fun, but people were suprized I came. It gets kinda boring for some people. But its the only time I get to see some of my friends, so it was lots of fun.

Second Semester

This semester isn't as bad as I thought. I started Wellness and even though I miss band, Its not as bad as I was imagining. I think I was remembering softball practices and imagining doing that in school every day. I do really miss band though. The locker rooms are right next to the band room so I can hear them warming up as I get dressed. Luckily I have time to go play at basketball games with the pepband. So I haven't completely abandoned the flute. :)
It was great to go to Parma. I got to see lots of relatives and baby Rowan. She is sooo cute!!!! I forgotten what new babies are like. Neiv had her birthday while we were up there. She has the prettiest curly hair. And Boston was running around all over the place. He is so active! Even though this semester isn't as bad as I feared, I still can't wait untill summer!!!!!!!!!

Finals week. AAAAHHH!!

Well, school didn't end up starting on Monday. We had a snow day. It was a pretty fast week of school. This next one will be extremely scary. Its finals week and I always freak myself out and think I'm going to fail everything. I have finals Tuesday through Thursday and have a half day on thursday and no school Friday. It will be such a good weekend. I'm hoping to get together with some friends and celebrate not dying over the week. I spend alol morning studying and then went to a YW scrapbooking activity and fireside. It was really good fireside, the spririt was so strong. The speaker asked us to make a tender mercies journal where we wrote down all the tender mercies we noticed for at least the month of January. I've always ment to do a blessings journal and nows a perfect time to start. I had a really good time. Our stake is trying a new thing where they have firesides and get togethers (like the scrapbooking) for just the YW every once in a while. We've had two so far and both were lots of fun. I hope they last!
The snow was finally starting to melt and then it snowed again last night. I wasn't very happy. I've discovered since I moved here that I don't like lots of snow. I miss our Colorado winters where it would all melt in a day. I'm definatly a mild winter person. I can't wait till summer!!

School and Finals

School starts tomorrow and I'm am not looking forward to the homework and tests. Finals start in a week and I am still going to be brain dead from break. Annica's first day of YW was today. I think I was just as excited as Annica.
Because we weren't able to see family for New Year's I went to the dance. It was lots of fun even though they played way to much tecno. Before the dance there was a video that was sent out by the YM and YW general presidency. It had really good stuff in it but we were all cracking up. It was like the mormon version of High School Musical (one of the dumbest movies in the world by the way). I saw two people I know preforming which really exciting. One of them was a girl from EFY. She's the one that drank the goldfish. The other was a guy I went to school with in CO.
